1995 marked the year of the expulsion of hutterites, Henry, Harry & George Hofer for dabbling in "the devil's music". Homeless, they headed for the big city, Calgary... well it's pretty big compared to the Scapa Colony that's fer sure. Anyways, while picking bottles out of a ditch they discovered another castaway, Pickles the Clown, ex Carnie, ejected from his trailer after "some unpleasantness". Joining MF as their bass player, the group took to the local bars playing their own brand of Slo-Fi Sludge Rawk. After recording their first Cd, Tractivore, Goerge Hofer was pulled into an Auger, never to be seen again. MF continued as a trio, releasing 4 songs on a compilation entitled "I Chase the Butterflies & the Butterflies Chase me". While presently the future of the band is uncertain MF is planning the release of their long awaited double album.
