Mark D'Angelo a native of North Vancouver, holds a Master of Music Degree from the University of McGill in Montreal, Q.C. Mark currently holds the position of second trumpet with the Vancouver Island Symphony, and has performed with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, the CBC Radio Orchestra, Thunder Bay Symphony, American Brass Quintet, Aspen Festival Orchestra, and the Canada West Chamber Orchestra. As a soloist Mark has performed Handel's Messiah, and Copland’s Quiet City with the Canada West Chamber Orchestra; Concerto's with the Capilano University Wind Ensemble, North Vancouver Youth Band, and premiered multiple solo pieces written for him. Mark has recorded with "Rita Chiarelli" and the Thunder Bay Symphony, Hedley, Mariachi Los Dorados, Corbin Murdoch and the Nautical Miles, The Whiskeydicks, Shelley Obrien, Amelia, Stephen Day, and the National Youth Orchestra of Canada to name a few. Mark currently holds the position of trumpet instructor at Capilano University, and the Vancouver Academy of Music.
