Like the Phoenix from its ashes, Magic Hall of Mirrors was formed from the ashes of a previous band, The Golden Hands Before God Conducts Incredible Magic Band & The Spirits.

The Golden Hands' singer and songwriter, Sean Barry, and percussionist, Jamie Greer, teamed up with another Windsor guitarist songwriter named Justin Faubert and began to work on the groundwork of a new project. They soon enlisted another alumni of The Golden Hands Before God, original guitarist Daren Dobsky, as well as mutual friend and bassist Eric Arner (formerly of such Windsor acts the doLLies, Portia and Ten Year Drought). During the recording of their first EP, "Garage Demos", Faubert left the band to travel out west, but his presence in many of the songs are still felt. Following a slew of drummers, the incomparable George Manury (Two For The Cascade, Ten Indians) joined on board to complete the current line-up.

Magic Hall of Mirrors has already won rave reviews from their handpicked opening slots for such bands as Said The Whale, Elephant Stone, Amos The Transparent, The Pack AD, Yukon Blonde, In-Flight Safety and The Schomberg Fair. They're currently recording their debut album in Windsor, Ontario.
