Mae Moore
Blessed with an artist’s eye, Mae Moore writes songs that evoke connection to place and to the personal. She has been writing for over thirty-five years, and her songs have been heard in major movie soundtracks, hit television shows and all over the radio. With two Juno nominations, two Socan awards and many chart successes, Mae has forged a career that has found her sharing stages with Sarah McLachlan, John Hiatt, Marianne Faithfull, Crosby, Stills and Nash, Richard Thompson and other folk/rock luminaries.

In 2002, Mae married roots musician, Lester Quitzau and together they recorded “Oh My!”, an acoustic gem that garnered them a West Coast Music Award nomination.( “...downright exquisite.” ~Acoustic Guitar magazine)
Since then, Mae has helped to nurture other songwriters and ran Red Cedar Songwriter Camp from 2005-2009. She is also active as a visual artist, painting and selling her Canadian landscape works and will be releasing a book of art images, photographs, lyrics and will include a digital download card for her soon-to-be-released album, entitled Folklore.
Folklore, the album, was released in February 2011 and is produced by Joby Baker (Alex Cuba, Cowboy Junkies, The Bills). Folklore and Mae were twice nominated for the Canadian Folk Music Awards of 2011.
