biographical info
Means to an End's foundation started in the spring of 1999 and they have continued to grow into an energetic, melodic, punk/ hardcore band with a style all of their own. The strong and versatile vocals of Jason Best complement the melodic underlyings of the rhythm section, while the guitars tear through the mix with a unique aggressiveness. This rare chemistry and approach is documented in their debut EP “Destined to Fall” which was released in the Fall of 2001. “Destined to Fall” has created a stir in the local music scene allowing them to receive airplay on both the major Vancouver rock station C-Fox as well as the University of B.C. station CITR. Local labels and promoters have also issued support which has led to many shows throughout B.C. with bands such as the Hanson Brothers and Burden. With outstanding interest from local players in the music scene and a constant stream of momentum, expect great things from this band in the future.
