biographical info
Mager Bubu is a project spawned from the folk-rock band 101. Rob Eastland, who wrote half of 101's material, felt a yearning for burning notes, blistering rythyms and long, sustained overtones. Difficult to do within the folk-rock genre. So he baited brother Tom and Drummer Ken Trusler into a little side project. "Let's make a little cohesive noise, Boys..." and thus was Mager Bubu born. Harder than folk, nicer than Death Metal. Gramma may not tell you to turn it off, but she sure as hell won't dance to it. (Unless she's particularly cool...)
