Lucid 44 began in the early 90’s , streaming his slow core /
sad bastard muse , under the DIY influence of northwest music labels like K ,
kill rock stars and Sub pop . Mainly recording on 4 track cassette, trading
tapes and touring Canada
, via the greyhound bus where ever they would take him. Releasing 18 tapes
/singles / albums under the moniker Tonto is jesus records , as Lucid 44 and
other projects like 2000 wears (experimental) and his punk spazz band
GutterAwl Reluctantly touring and performing
, having the mindset , that this is just
a glorified camping trip where you can sleep in late , meet other artisans ,
and have a beer or two .
