Blending styles of Damien Rice and Glen Hansard to Canadian favorites such as Joel Plaskett and Danny Michel, Lucas takes these influences and crafts a style of his own.
Lucas has had the pleasure in a short time frame, to share the stage with the following artists: Old Man Luedecke, Jamie Junger, Steve Gates, Ian Sherwood, Jenny Macdonald, Jennah Barry and many others. All while playing great venues such as Deep Roots Festival, The Chester Playhouse, The Rum Runner, Al Whitle Theatre, Riverfest, The Evergreen Theatre etc.
In 2010 Lucas released his first demo, under the helpful eye of Maritime favorite Jamie Junger (Bob’s Your Uncle/The Wingnuts) releasing only 100 copies of the demo it’s needless to say it’s time for a new release.
Now in 2012 Lucas has formed a band to back him consisting of: Andrew Balfour, Liam Britton, and his brother Zachary Reeves.
Set to record a new EP in the Winter of 2012/2013, Lucas and the band can’t wait to show you two years worth of brand new material that is bound to blow you away.
