biographical info
From bruised and bloodied back-bar rants of love neglected to upfront commentaries on hypocrisies of the soul, Liam’s rhythmic-acoustic style and melodic vocals swell with stories and personal revelations that capture his listeners in a journey of ageless growth. Liam’s voice and lyrical presence drive the engine for his songwriting while his instrumentation harkens to crisp autumn nights huddled around a lake front fire. An intimate environment he aims to recreate in each of his solo performances; breaking the barrier between audience and performance, encouraging everyone to take part and engage in the personal journey together.
Unplugged, Unreleased and Unheard Of is Liam’s first self-produced release that captures the essence of his experiential songwriting. Recorded live at Halifax’s Local Jo’s Café & Market with nothing more than a small hand recorder and some well-placed microphones, the release maintains itself as Liam’s commitment to make music his next step. The recording itself is a completely hand-made experience from recording to CD to packaging, that places the listener into the show; complete with candid commentaries and subtle nuances unique to every one of his performances.
This nine-track original composition will release February 21. Liam’s first studio EP is in the works and is scheduled to hit a studio in October 2011.
