Since 1999, Les Breastfeeders have been known for their explosive performances. This Montreal-based rock monster has proved that rock’n’roll is still up and alive, charming critics and public alike with their albums Déjeuner sur l’herbe (2004), Les matins de grands soirs (2006), which was also released in France and most recently with their album Dans la gueule des jours (2011).
On top of playing over 350 shows including performances at numerous international events, the band has also won the Prix Miroir de l’Artiste d’ici at the Festival d’été de Québec (2005) and their song Angle mort took home the Chanson Primée award handed out by the SOCAN (2003). More recently, Les Breastfeeders were nominated at ADISQ 2011 for Album Rock de l’Année and won the GAMIQ Award for Album Rock’n’Roll de l’Année as well as receiving a nomination in the Show of the Year category
