Lakefield is a five-piece, Vancouver based band which blends the sounds of Cinematic, Epic, and Indie-Pop in a slew of well placed awkward moments and soaring harmonies. The East Coast meets the West Coast as Steve, Bryan, Kate, Kyle and Paul make you laugh, cry, and sing; as well as everything in between.

This is the sound of Lakefield.

Live performance of "North Wind" from our first album "Sounds From The Treeline." Download the album now, from lakefieldmusic.com. This performance was recorded on May 13th, 2010, live in Vancouver at the University of British Columbia's CiTR 101.9 FM studio during Ben Lai's "Live from Thunderbird Radio Hell." Shot with a microwave-mounted Canon 7D at 1920×1080 24p. Soundtrack mixed using the on-camera audio and the radio feed as sources. Hi-res version at http://vimeo.com/12834722
