biographical info
Ever notice how great music sounds when you're outside gazing up at a field of stars? For those of us who are strangled by the city for the better part of the year, it feels like the music itself, like us, has finally found the room to breathe. I was pretty young when I first had this pointed out to me. My brothers and I used to go up north on camping trips in the late seventies. At night, we'd sit out on the rocks and stare at the sky. They'd painstakingly explain various different astrological phenomenon to me, all the while setting the stage by playing things like the Beatles' Revolver non-stop. Though I never developed an interest in science, I believe I developed a knack for setting a mood. That's what I've tried to do with my first solo effort, Las Venus.
