Kleins96 is the product of educated defiance and narcotic glee, a godlesstrio of decadent misfits from Regina, SK. Blending early thrash hardcore withballs-out skatepunk, Kleins96 has crafted a towering debut album, a blisteringsermon on power, modernity and holy terror, frought with anxiety and brokenbottles. Influenced by such dynamic landmarks as Today’s Empires,Tomorrow’s Ashes and Damaged, the record savours every terrifying highand moment of respite equally, a soundtrack for the not-too-distant future:violent, hysterical, and built upon the ashes of the old.
The band has already shared the stage with SNFU, Fucked Up and Ruineramong many others, and has a full Canadian tour booked for July/Augustin support of the record. The band’s debut EP and split 7” with Rehashed(both released March 2009) are nearly out of print.
