King Dylan isn't your average former Speed Skater turned Rapper turned Rocker turned Rapper. In fact, he's probably be the only Canadian Pop-rock/Hip Hop artist that would get that title. If Hedley and Gym Class Heroes had a lovechild, King Dylan would be the legitimate father. If Eminem or Linkin Park started to write music for kids who are less angry, King Dylan would be writing Slim Shady & Linkin Park diss raps for trying to copy him.
Even if you've never witnessed King Dylan's unparalleled piano-rocking, vocal-slaying, air-kicking, high-energy stage performance, you can still understand how he's become a finalist in the 2011 ISC International Songwriting Competition and shared the stage & recorded songs with Juno-award winners Moka Only & Swollen Members. King Dylan's trademark blend of styles comes from his background as a well-rounded musician who began playing Piano at age 6, later playing Clarinet in his school band, and listening to Gangsta rap mixed in with some Children songs, Heavy metal, and 80's Rock. His ipod is still filled with this junk.

Although his rap career was distracted while playing bass guitar in his best friends' Alberta-based rock band Broken Ride, they did get the chance to tour across Canada, play at CMW ( Canadian Music Week 2010 and 2011), work with producers Dale Penner (Nickelback, Loverboy) & Chris Burke-Gaffney (Chantal Kreviazuk, McMaster & James), receive Government Funding Grants, and chart on some radios. But King Dylan's true heart and soul is as a solo artist, lyricist and vocalist – singing, rapping, playing piano and whipping his hair better than Will Smith's kid.
Dinosaurs On Broadway, released in March 2012, is King Dylan's third official solo album - Heart vs. Brain/Disheartened (2009/2010), All Eyes On D (2005) - not to mention his two other albums with the group The D.C. Show Bizarremageddon (2008), Smacked By Popular Demand (2006) and a GQ & King Dylan duet album Afterlife (2006) . All fully produced and co-written by King Dylan. This new, 16-track album showcases Dylan's growing ability to write catchy hooks, play piano and sing life like a Broadway musical, yet still rap equally as ferocious as the hungriest Dinosaurs... I mean, Emcees.
