biographical info
I have lived in Vancouver, BC for the last 5 years and I have recently moved to Paris.
I am planning on living in France for the next couple years in hope of being able to paint and make music in a new and inspiring environment.
I began making music 11 years ago in the basement playing drums with my brother shredding up the guitar, our parents let us rock as loud as we wanted till 11 every night of the week, they rule! Ive played mainly drums for the bulk of my 11 year musical life but Ive tried to learn as much as I can teach myself on guitar, bass and piano. I am a completely self taught musician and I think thats been a great credit to my abilities and my sound. In Vancouver I was playing steadily with two very incredibly good friends and musicians Shane and Erin and we founded The Wizards of Revelstoke, a progressive rock, jazz trio in the lines of YES, or Rush. Before I departed for Paris I recorded an album in my room in the upstairs of a house in East Vancouver, the album is called The Storm That Lasted Forever, I wrote performed and produced the album and it was a dream come true to just lock myself up and see what happens and Im really happy with what did happen, the songs are Low Fi with simple flows and a what I think is a unique sound. Please listen to them and enjoy them. Peace and Love Kale
