King Bong came together in 1999 as Skanky Crackdown a 12 piece Ska show band. SC opened for King Appartus, Scofflaws, King Jango, Easy Big Fella and others before breaking down into a 4 piece renamed Little Big Man. With the addition of congas, Sax, flute, and the strong backup vocals of the Sweet Grass Girls the band became KING BONG in 2002 and began to dance Victoria audiences into a frenzy! Every show has a different theme and BC crowds are lovin the event known as THE BONG SHOW!
