Joshuas Habit recently won the regional Radio Star National Songwriting Competition through Calgary's Best Rock, CJay 92 with there latest single, Pointing Fingers. It is now receiving 14-18 spins per week on CJay and over 70 spins nationwide weekly and gaining some momentum! There showcase went extremely well in Toronto for Canadian Music week and has attracted some attention from major label A&R personnel, Commercial Program directors and Music Directors nation wide!
Some shows that are coming up around Western Canada include a headlining show at The Gate at SAIT on Friday March 23rd as well as a show at The Zone in Red Deer on March 24th. March 31st, they will be playing a showcase at The Senator downtown Saskatoon to some of the most influential people in the music industry today. Joshuas Habit will then be opening up for the Trews on April 5th for the CJay 92 kids fund annual Fundraiser which is expected to be sell out crowd down at The Back Alley in Calgary.
There latest video for the single, Drama Queen, has been added to an option rotation on Much Music and medium rotation on Much Loud. Filming for the video for Pointing Fingers will commence in early April, 2007!
