biographical info
I'm a Canadian singer/songwriter who has been singing and performing since childhood. I started
out on stage in musical theatre and dramatic productions. I also grew up playing the piano,
highland dancing, singing in choirs and competing in singing festivals. I love performing.
I began songwriting when I was about 12 years old but only completed my first song at age 17. In
that time I also took up playing the guitar. One of the highlights of my singing career so far
has been performing at the Merritt Mountain Music Festival in 2004 as a youth performer. This
was the first time I performed my own music in a large venue which for me wasn't easy as my
songs tend to be quite personal. But it is these true feelings and emotions that I wish to
share with others. Music has helped me through some of the ups and downs in life and I hope it
can do the same for you.
I recorded my first album earlier this year (2008). It is comprised of three of my own songs and I am
very proud of the final product. Hopefully there is more to come!
