Lullabies for Grown-ups, Beaupre's first studio album, is a collection of 13 thoughtful tunes with soothing, sweet melodies and refreshing simplicity. The album's musical colors span an eloquent spectrum- from a fetching ditty on a chaplain's organ (For Once), to a smooth yet rhythmic track perfect for a daydream, (Chocolate). Renowned harpist, Zeena Parkins, weaves through the final piece on the album with floating harp harmonies, (the Truth).
Clever lyrics are at the heart of Jenn's music. Relatable and often witty lyrics are peppered throughout the album. Jenn has combined her classical training with her chanteuse soul, to create a polished style all her own. Pure and charming, Jenn will bring you back to the days when an artist really had to be an artist.
