biographical info
Influenced early on by eclectic musical tastes of the prentals. Somewhere in between Chicago, Marvin Gaye, Chuck Mangione, Sade, and Chaka Kahn.
Realized the joys of singing when I was home alone in the house after school was out. Used to belt it out while nobody was around. Got involved in musical projects as my confidence grew. Played some highschool bands. Played my way through university at pubs and dives in a three-man accoustic band, Finally taught myself to play some guitar about a year and a half ago so that playing music was not directly dictated by the presence of others. These tunes are my first forrays into solo songwriting. I'm currently makiung music in another group project called The Kitchen. Check it out: http://www.kitchenmusic.com
Other than that- music is what's most important, really. Not who's playing it. It has the power to bring people together under a common feeling. This is going to be invaluable in the turbulent years that are staring at us all from the not-so-distant horizon. So- let's rally around our sounds and prove to ourselves that we can come together.
