The Jive Kings from Charlottetown, PEI enjoyed considerable success in their 3 year history. Disbanded in 2002, their diverse repertoire, adaptability, and wide demographic appeal lead to a busy schedule at many different types of events. The Jive Kings performed at Jazz Festivals, as guest artists with a symphony orchestra, club dates, weddings, and a number of other corporate and professional functions. Some highlights include: The Celebrate Toronto Street Festival (with an audience of 60,000), the Atlantic Film Festival Closing Gala, sold out shows at the Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival and Festival by the Sea, Festival of Lights, the Canada Day Celebration in Moncton, NB, Breakfast Television in Toronto and Halifax, numerous CBC Radio broadcasts and a live national TV appearance on the ECMAs award show
