artist Idiots!

The sound of harps echoing through heaven's halls, the baying of rabid wolves, grease frying in a pan, the liquid path of a mountain glacier. All seemingly unrelated sounds and concepts, however, therein lies the contrast capable of explaining the Idiots!' musical philosophy. Idiots! was born at Low Key Studios, when Roey Shemesh approached longtime friend and fellow musician Howard Goldbach to collaborate on recording his songs. The duo is currently promoting their first E.P., recording at Low Key Studios, and playing live shows that will promote love and understanding between humans and machines the world over. Roey Shemesh has collaborated and toured with the Be Good Tanyas, Po'Girl, Veda Hille, Jesse Zubot, and C.R. Avery. Howard Goldbach has worked with many of Vancouver's improvising musicians. Howard has just recently finished his composition degree at the University of British Columbia. He is currently an active music instructor of piano and electronic music. Idiots! influences include Interpol, Prince, Tortoise, J.S.Bach, and natural phenomena, such as the mating call of the vampire bat, or bees gathering honey. Happy Listening!
