Hope Atlantic is a band comprised of best friends: Jordy, TJ, and Matty who all grew up in a small town outside of Winnipeg, Manitoba. It was there that the trio met and subsequently began their musical journey. Despite growing up together, it was while playing in separate bands that the trio "learned the ropes" of the music industry. TJ playing in Sick City (Smallman Records), and Matty playing in Port Amoral (Roadrunner Records), left Jordy doing some 'soul searching' and going to school in Oklahoma for well over a year. After all returning home to their hometown the boys met up with new friend Jeremy Penner who finalized the lineup on piano and keys.
In only a short time, the band's unique grassroots approach at pop rock has quickly resulted in a dedicated fan base. At this time, their fan base has expanded from Winnipeg into Eastern and Western Canada where the band went on a successful month long tour with good friend and long time road warrior Michael Froh.
The band recently supported 'The Spill Canvas' and 'Stereos' in their hometown of Winnipeg and are planning for the September 18th release of 5 song EP and 12" record titled "Mercy Street Choir".
