artist Grimace Love

Having over fifteen years of writing, performance, and recording experience, veteran emcee Grimace Love is a skilled lyricist, and multi-talented artist who is making huge steps towards success. Grimace Love was first heard in 1997 when he featured on Frankenstein’s “UV” EP in “Combine with Frankenstein”. Grimace Love was a founding member of the hip hop powerhouse, Monolith, and in 1998 Grimace appeared on four out of six tracks on the well-received Monolith “The Long Awaited…” EP. In 2001/2002 Grimace Love released his single, video, and CD EP “At First Sight” which received content wide accolades. In 2004/2005 he released his first official mixtape(CD), entitled Fire the Streets vols. 1&2 which included brand new, and old never before heard material from Grimace Love, Monolith, plus collabos with other T dot artists. In 2006 Grimace released IT’S ALL OVER featuring Wio-K, the ground-breaking first single from Grimace Loves upcoming album. Produced by all-star beat maker Korry Deez of the super group Irs. The double a-side single also includes the hot concept track Skip the Needle, produced by Lancecape. Most recently he has released, “REALLY REAL” his sophomore single also produced by "T dot's Beat Bully", Lancecape.  As well as the street single/video, “THE ZIG ZAG MAN”, the “Pre Album Smoke Session” mixtape which received worldwide acclaim on the internet.

Grimace Love most recently released his long awaited debut album entitled “PERCEPTION” on indie label Whole Wheat Brothers Music. The album is now available on I-tunes and almost everywhere else you can purchase MP3’s online via Indie Pool distribution. “PERCEPTION” will be re-released in stores across Canada fall 2009. Next on the agenda for G.L. is the release of his new single/video “GRIMSTONE”, off of his “PERCEPTION” album.  With such an impressive track record, as well as the current moves being made, Grimace Love is definitely some one to watch for.
