Greenstreak is a band of musicians from varying backgrounds, jazz to metal, whose sheer love for making music and performing led them to the creation of this band to share their creativity. Anita belts it out with her soulful voice and blows her horn giving the band a unique and fresh sound. She is collaborating in Greenstreak to create music after her own heart, telling stories of love, loss, and every once in a while, a Rock Anthem. Dan Hansen gives the band their guitar driven edge. Vince Swanson’s bass playing gives the band its tight grooves and thick texture. Elijah Jordan’s enthusiastic drumming gives Greenstreak energy and forward propulsion.

Greenstreak was born out of the idea that music needs to be made for everyone. It should have the simple joy of a sweet melody and tapping toes. These four musicians come from such contrasting backgrounds and experiences of music and schooling to form a band that has a diverse and interesting sound. It's a collaboration of different styles and influences, from ska/reggae to punk/metal to blues and ballads, mixed into a magnetic musical brew. They want to draw you into their world to tell you personal stories that everyone can relate to.
