Biography Highlights Gracing stages from St Petersburgh, Russia to Toronto, Canada, Greenlaw is paving the way for their much anticipated debut album with Formation Records due for International release Fall 2008. Greenlaw's earthy soul sound is a new direction for the UK based DnB label but is one that is definitely turning heads. Front woman Skyla J comes with powerful thought provoking lyrics presented with an angelic molasses like voice that is sweet enough to be compared to an early Jill Scott meets Indie Irie by UK's F magazine. Winners of the "most memorable show of 2004"( Monday Mag Victoria B.C) the band released their full length studio album in 2005 entitled Time and Energy that was quickly hailed by CBC Radio 1 as one of the "top albums of 2005". In 2007 the band was nominated top four out of 40'000 bands for an Indy Award in London England and currently Greenlaw is up for Best International Act at the 2008 DnB Awards. Greenlaw has also been featured at top festivals, showcases and venues throughout North America, Europe and the UK, sharing stages with the likes of Sly and Robbie, Micheal Franti, Dj SS and Grooverider just to name a few.Greenlaw has just released 7 slammin remixes of their much anticipated new single "Warrior"available for digital download at all major sites. Warrior has been quoted as a quality slice of Vocal Drum and Bass by ATM magazine.

It is sooooo good to be home Oz and I have just arrived home after touring the UK and Europe. We played a couple of shows in Germany for the first time and it was amazing !!! The Word is spreading alot faster than we expected regarding our new single Warrior so far the 2 most popular downloads are the House and Dnb versions. We will be in Vic for a few months before touring the states in the Spring. Oz and I will be throwin down some smooth Dub Soul and DnB at Aura every Sunday ( 680 Montreal St ) from 8:30 -11. Greenlaw is also really excited to open for Bass Nectar Nov 29 at Sugar this will be a full on DnB set we have been working on some powerful visuals to incorporate into our live DnB show this will definitely be worth checking out.
