Garrett's new release "Seventh Star" is set for December 2011 release. The new CD features the talents of Frank Baker - Drums, Drew Barron - Guitar, Andrew Lorimer - Keyboards, Robin Atchison - Harmonica, Preston Ryback - Trumpet and Sean Garrett - Vocals & Bass. All songs written, arranged and produced by Sean Garrett.

Garrett has always been an outsider pursuing his own unique musical vision. Perhaps the increasingly dark world at large is finally ready to catch up with him.

Vancouver based Garrett is developing an exciting reputation by combining his incredible passion for music with the ability to deliver with a modern rock edge.  Garrett pushes the boundaries of what we perceive to be cutting edge music by recontextualizing the elements of symphonic rock and progressive metal with a modern melodic rock feel. His lyrical imagery and impassioned vocal prowess finds him conquering new boundaries. His sound is uniquely his own, yet it pays homage to those musical masters that came before him.  

"I am looking to get back the same feeling I had when I all first started writing music. When I start thinking beyond that, about wanting to keep up with the latest musical trends or about fitting in with somebody else's format that's when I lose sense of purpose.  For me music is a spiritual journey, it allows me to contribute towards a peaceful world through the global language we call music.  All the things I talk about in my songs are personal and real.  Life is full of obstacles but you must also realize that the challenges are there to overcome”.... says Garrett  

Garrett studied voice under the late legendary Maestro David P. Kyle in Seattle, Washington. His favourite Kyle quote which still resonates home today.... “Create what you like. It doesn't really matter if they love you, hate you, like you or don't like you.  Just make a lot of noise and make sure they hear you."
