biographical info

"Who are these Egyptian frat boys?" you may ask. "What's an Egyptian frat boy?" may be your next question. Either way the answer is "Fuad and the Feztones'. But who really are these drunken middle-eastern party animals?

The mystery starts to unfold when you realize that singer / guitar player Fuad Ramses and bass man Rich N. Ready of the Feztones are in reality Bobby Beaton and John Davis of legendary Montreal garage band The Gruesomes! Together with drummer extrordinaire Lew Dacts and Sax-&-Keys man Tip Hazard (better know as Dave Hamelin and Liam O’Neil of Montreal rockers The Stills), these four veterans of the Montreal Music scene crank out some of the craziest 60’s twister garage soul ever laid down by gods or men.

The band can be heard paying musical tribute to great R&B groups like Booker T. & the MG’s, the Markeys and Willie Mitchell, soloists like Freddy King and King Curtis and all the great goofy party bands of the 60’s like the Kingsmen and Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs! This band really cooks - but don’t take our word for it! Pick up a copy of their new CD BEERAMID and slap it on at your next frat party and watch what happens! We guarantee you will have a Tut-uncommonly good time.
