biographical info
After having his application to join the Wu Tang Clan rejected, Summitt Rouss took up the moniker Flex Rock and struck out on his own as a DJ and producer. He resides in the Forest Hill neighbourhood of Toronto which has little to no bearing on his music. Inspired by old school acid house, modern nu-rave, 80s synthesizers and the no frills cooking stylings of Pasquale Carpino, Flex Rock set out to remake the dance music scene in his own graven image. Flex Rock’s first release on Jexonex, Constant Tweaking EP, was acclaimed by at least one person that he’s familiar with and his parents thought it was “neat.” His greatest regret to date is never growing to be an even 6 feet tall.
