biographical info

FEVERS have just released their debut full length record, 'No Room For Light', to their fans across Canada, the States, and Europe alike. Produced in Ottawa and Toronto by acclaimed producer Laurence Currie, it’s an exciting follow-up to the electro-indie-rock band’s first EP, Passion Is Dead. They’ll be playing a lot of shows in support of it, so keep your eyes open for tour date announcements!

Looking back on the past couple of years, we can just imagine what the future will hold for FEVERS--they have covered some serious ground already! With the launch of their self-produced EP, Passion Is Dead, in October 2011, they saw the world open up to them. They had some great press from critics in Canada, the States, and Europe alike and played Ottawa Bluesfest (2012 & 2013), NXNE, Tulip FestivalCapital PrideJUNOfest, and the Festival de l’Outaouais Émergent. In doing so, they got to share the stage with artists like Tegan & SaraThe Joy FormidablePlants and AnimalsDirty Projectors and Ariane Moffatt.

The band’s title track “Passion is Dead (Long Live Fashion)” took on a new life in 2012 as FEVERS released their debut music video for the track, one that was made possible by local creative producer Bryan “Shooter” McNally, an IndieGoGo campaign, and the generosity of Ottawa businesses and contributors. The local support was further expressed when the video won First Prize at the Ottawa International Film Festival. Sarah Bradley (vocals, keys), Martin Charbonneau (keys, guitars), Jim Hopkins (bass), Colin MacDougall (guitar, vocals and keys) and Mike Stauffer (drums, sampling) are proud to be part of this community and are excited to put it on the map of the electro scene.
