biographical info
"Let me tell you about Montreal newcomers femme accident. They've been playing together for almost two years now and they're coming for every single one of you. Consider yourself warned. I just finished listening to their upcoming EP and you got to trust me on this, they're just about to blow your mind off. Psychedelia, shoegazing and twee pop mixed together again and the result speaks for itself. Very noisy, but still incredibly catchy and powerful. You will be surprised to know how a trio, drums, guitar and bass can sound that big and fill a room that easily. Vocals are tastefully drowned in reverb and it gives just the perfect room for great guitar licks and very groovy rhythm section. Nostalgia rarely sounded that confident.
I won't tell you about the other projects that some of the members are involved in because Femme Accident is a band on is own and it would be unfair the classify them as a side project band. They're simply great and that's all you need to know. If you're not imaginative enough and too lazy to just listen to the songs without knowing how it sounds like, you can think of my bloody valentine mating with the pastels, or ride and orange juice maybe ? but whatever, these guys can shoegaze the shit out of a 60s rock standard. Enjoy."
