biographical info
Fee Chee (aka Mama Winslow aka Snuffy J aka Cho-Cho aka Kitbags) has played in bands his whole life, from punk music to soul music. He learned to play guitar by listening to Minor Threat, Misfits, The Stooges and other such wonderful bands way back in the day, more recently played guitar for years with Halifax local R&B group the Mellotones until 2005. He has also had weekly nights DJing rare groove, Soul, New Wave, and Hip Hop in Canada and the UK since 2001.
Although Fee Chee has exclusively performed upbeat music, he has only ever written dark folk music, or slow depressing mood music. This is due to the fact that it is easier to be creative when you are depressed, don't you find?
Recently Fee Chee has been focusing on electronic types of sounds, escaping from the traditional sounds of organic instruments, but still involving his PC as little as possible.
writing dance music is uncharted territory for Fee Chee, but hey, it's good to try new things - and seeing people dance and enjoying themselves is a wonderful thing.
