They’re the band you almost didn’t get to meet, hailing from different corners of the province, and the world. This Toronto based band consists of lead singer Tim Shaw, lead guitarist Jay Sayne, guitarist Eddie Silver, Drummer Johnny J and Bassist Phily Dee.
Fallen Heirs fuse catchy melody and lyrics, hard hitting rock and roll and a commanding live performance that breathes life into their audience. This five piece rock band, take their music to a level of perfection that can’t be matched.
Singer, Tim Shaw and Drummer, Johnny J are Northern Ontario transplants, raised in Thunder Bay. Having relocated there alt/classic rock band, The Ryde, to Toronto, the two found themselves looking for a new project after the band saw its last days.
Guitarist, Eddie Silver took the trek from New Zealand, to follow his musical dreams in Canada. Lead guitarist, Jay Sayne, Toronto native, met Eddie at an Aerosmith concert and quickly realized that there was an un-doubtable future in making music together.
After repeated attempts at connecting over e-mail it seemed they would never meet. The unlikely union of the four artists would eventually come to life and everything seemed to form with ease. Each member found their creative energy and shortly after they had two songs after only a few hours together. But a piece of the puzzle was still missing.
Whitby native and Bassist, Phily Dee, unsatisfied with the direction his band was going, decided to move on from his 10 year position with the band. Not certain if he would even continue his musical career he stumbled across an ad and decided to contact the band and give it all one more shot.
Today, Fallen Heirs has solidified their line up with talented and passionate musicians with a hunger to succeed and strive to breathe fresh new rock into the masses.
