Robert D. Graham and Kelly M. Zombor formed Flaco while working together on a "B" grade horror film. Flaco is the name of one of the characters in that film. Flaco was a hunchback that eventually morphes into a goat after he is murdered. Nice.
Flaco informs a vague jazz vibe with obscure ambience, punk rock and 60's psych, resamples and reorganizes it into the sound track for a movie where zombies and aliens break into your house and eat your brain.
Flaco is more a melting pot than a band. The core members are often joined by other people seeking a conduit for their more experimental side. The result of these colaborations are the true essence of Flaco. How the world affects our nervous systems and hearts rather than our logic is what we are all about.
