Fascade@137db first began with the more traditional electric guitar, however curiosity quickly grew to encompass samplers and computer based recording just over a decade ago. He spent several years in the commercial studio realm producing, engineering and editing for some of Winnipeg's best studios including Studio 11, Chris Burke-Gaffney and Bedside studios. Fascade took it upon himself to build his own studio and work on his own creative vision. The result was the release of The Premonition EP in May 2002 to the praise of critics and music fans alike.
At the start of 2004 Fascade@137db decided to craft the follow up to The Premonition EP, it began with a complete home studio remodeling. From there songwriting began for the full length Character of the Moment. During this period over 70 plus songs past and present were considered for the CD, of these 12 songs found their way onto Character of the Moment.
