Ellen Carol was homegrown in Regina Saskatchewan however she has been addicted to taking her music on the road since 1990. Through Canada, the U.S., Mexico, Belize, Australia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Fiji, Korea, Japan, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Thailand and Laos, Ellen has shared her songs. In turn she was given the experiences that have enhanced her lyrical and musical style. However, after 6 years in Toronto the earth child Ellen Carol has transformed into a street savvy songstress. Still, she sports her peace love rock and roll roots and this has placed many opportunities to grow on her concrete path.
BC born Colleen Costello shines through the haze of all things music like a bulldozer in the fog. Her scope of experience and love of sound in all shapes and sizes makes her one of the most unique musicians you’ll have the pleasure of listening to. She plays with music like origami, refolding and reshaping styles you might recognize into little paper animals... I mean into new forms of catchy songs. With a voice that chills and thrills, singing melodies and harmonies to die for, Colleen Costello’s writing is as fresh as a carrot out of the ground. Lyrics stream inspired and the beat gets in yer blood.
Together they have found a unique and gitty sound that has been pleasing audiences from Toronto to Charlottetown. But the desire to head west has been pulling at their hearts for some time now.
