The Empiricals just got back from a big tour of China, with shows in Yichang and Beijing. They discovered that, to their disappointment, there are no pretty ladies in China. Despite that, the band enjoyed lots of the full-service massages, and got their hair cut many times. Their record "Golden Beat" is now out. It contains many solid gold style hit-type songs, including "Specialized Cha-Cha" and "You Stole My Ho." The Empiricals' music has been compared to the music of the Eagles, so if you enjoy "Hotel California," you are sure to like the Golden Beat record.
