biographical info
There is a serious buzz growing on the West coast of British
Columbia, Canada about a rock band called DROHAN. Fresh off a 2010
Vancouver Olympic performance at the Edge-water Celebration stage,
Drohan hit the ground running with a quick series of university radio
station (101.9 CITR & 90.1 CJSF) live acoustic performances that have
left people wanting to hear more. Being that Drohan's usual sound is
full tilt rock'n'roll, the stripped down acoustic versions were only
fitting since front man Bryce Drohan was also one of only fifty people
selected to be granted an official public performance license during the
Vancouver 2010 Olympic games. Drohan was also top 20 for 99.3 CFOX's Seeds competition for new bands
Having recently teamed up to write some new songs with producer Alex
"Condor" Aligizakis (Nickelback,Hedley, Art of Dying) they have just released their new single "Devil's Son, recorded at at Nimbus recording studios
in Vancouver. Shooting has also just wrapped on their supporting
video for "Slither" with director Allison Parker from Jungle Media
behind the camera again for her third video with the band. These guys
are definitely fast movers with a lot of loyal friendships that will
prove invaluable down the road.
You can catch them live in BC throughout the summer, dates posted on the website. Other
than that you might catch up with them when they jump back in the tour
van for a BC / Alberta tour this August.
