biographical info
Kelowna-based Timothy Fehr, A.K.A. Buddah, has been playing music since he was 13 years old,
starting with the bass guitar. Having discovered that the world was a nasty place in which
any injustice is possible, the only alternative to insanity was to spend the majority of his time
playing and writing. At 15 school was interfering so much with the process of creating music
that he dropped it altogether and never looked back. He began engineering and experimenting
with electronic music in which he found a far vaster range of possibilities for expression
and began creating under the name Digital. The debut album Demise was nearing completion
when Buddah turned 18 and decided to see a bit more of the world.
Eight days later, after a series of foolhardy actions and misadventures,
(including an epic car chase!) he found himself incarcerated in an American prison.
He distracted his large and aggressive fellow inmates by teaching them Origami.
He chose to make good use of the Time by writing poetry and lyrics. He also worked out a lot,
because Origami can only solve so much. Eventually he was released and moved to Calgary AB
where he took up with a group of actors and misfits called W.A.X. Productions
who specialized in events catering to alternative lifestyles and masquerades.
With the help and inspiration of his co-performers Demise was finally finished.
Buddah then decided it was time to return to his hometown Kelowna
where he brought all his powers together and founded Spell Cast Studio and Productions
to publish his own work and that of new local artists. Since then he has released Demise
(free download available at www.spellcastproductions.com/demise) as well as several others.www.spellcastproductions.com/digital/listen.html
