biographical info
Delerium—Bill Leeb and his long time collaborator/co-producer Rhys Fulber—released their Nettwerk debut album Semantic Spaces in 1995, which was followed by breakthrough album Karma in 1997, featuring hit single “Silence” with Sarah McLachlan on vocals. Other albums include Poem (2001), Chimera (2005) and Nuages Du Monde
(2006). The duo has gone on to sell over a million albums in North
America alone. Leeb and Fulber also have a number of other highly
regarded musical collaborations under their belt, most notably the
influential industrial act Front Line Assembly, while Fulber has found
solo success as a producer and lately with his celebrated ethno-ambient
pop project Conjure One.
Recently, Delerium released Remixed: The Definitive Collection (2010). This album was a career encompassing
collection including stellar remixes of Delerium’s biggest songs like “Silence” featuring Sarah McLachlan, “Innocente” featuring Leigh Nash and
“Angelicus” featuring Isabel Bayrakdarian.
Delerium are set to
release their first ever acoustic album on October 5, 2010 entitled Voice:
An Acoustic Collection. The album is comprised of previously unreleased versions
of Delerium's most
memorable tracks, which are beautifully transformed into stripped-down,
acoustic renditions that serve justice to their ambient, electronic-pop
originals.
