DEE is a Montreal-based singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, DJ
and producer... With absolutely no skills as a "business guy" but with
the right DIY mentality, DEE has managed to have his songs featured in
movies and shows like Grey's Anatomy, The Hills, Hank & Mike, Scrubs and more - all while
keeping ownership of his music. On the web, DEE has also taken full
advantage of YouTube and his shoe-string budget music videos
that have been viewed more than 2 millions times. This exposure has
helped him in booking many live shows and DJ Sets, including a
performance in Moscow for the launch of YouTube Russia in 2007.
Following on his self-produced first album, DEE's latest album
entitled "Day by Day" sees him collaborating with various producers
including the Brothers Grand (Bran Van 3000, Pascale Picard) &
Simon Landry (Le Husky, Beluga). Producers Troublemakers, aKido and
mastering engineer Vlado Meller (Kanye West, White Stripes) have also
put their touch on the album which is an eclectic mix of electro-pop
and indie rock.
