David Logan is a graduate (magna cum laude) of the world renowned Berklee College of Music. After graduation in 1994, he was recruited by Player’s Music, where he quickly rose to the position of Music Director. He founded his first multimedia company shortly thereafter called M3 – Music for Multimedia.
In 1996, David moved to Los Angeles where he found immediate success as a composer in the video game industry. His video game credits include music composition for clients such as Ubisoft, Activision, Midway, Sony, and Namco.
David’s music has been used extensively for film and television. Television commercial credits include Nike’s 2004 Summer Olympics campaign featuring Marion Jones. Feature television credits include Sex in the City (HBO), FaceOff (NBC), and Access Hollywood (NBC). David was also a featured composer for Disney’s critically acclaimed television series Ready or Not, which is currently in syndication to 42 countries.
In addition to his career in music composition and production, David has acquired a passion for teaching the next generation of young composers and sound designers. A year after his return to Canada in 2003, he accepted a teaching post at Academy of Design, Toronto in the Video Game Design and Development program.
David’s recent projects include music for the TV series Gamer Girlz on the Global Network and Heroes Over Europe published by Ubisoft for the Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360.
