His friends lightheartedly call him Guitar God, but it may only be true if decades of hard work could make one such.
Highly influenced by the bands of the 70s and 80s, and after hearing one of his first favourite bands, KISS, Dave Shannon just had to learn to play guitar. Dave received his first guitar and delved into his first lesson at the age of 10.
Dave studied classical as well as standard guitar methods of playing. It wasn't long before he took the stage in front of the whole elementary school; it was the talk of the playground whether or not he was actually playing or if he was merely pretending to play with a recording.
Dave always aspired to be in a band himself and during his later youth, that indeed came true. He was highly looked up to by the neighbourhood kids and he in turn broadened many young minds into different genres of music by sharing his diverse musical tastes with them.
Exiting his teens, Dave was playing most of the rock clubs around town then had his first recording studio experiences and along with that, album releases and music videos.
Dave really loves the idea of being in a band; it was, of course, 'bands' that were his major influence growing up, not solo artists. That said, he has challenged himself by writing, recording, singing, and playing most of the music (with a little help from friends) on his self-titled debut album as a solo artist.

Update: She Means Business and Un-Noticed are examples of Dave taking a stab at Country music. They're just demos, so there isn't really a release date.; enjoy!
