My life has been changing so quickly these days, and I've fallen behind a bit on this blog. Sorry about that. I think about it a lot, and plan every day to write something on here, but some force beyond my control has been consistently keeping me from following through with my personal obligations. I usually just end up Googling articles on proof of immortality among humans. Apparently Keanu Reeves is one of these immortals. If you don't believe me, Google it. Keanu doesn't age for one (look at photos from 1994 and compare to 2008), and also has lived through time with several confirmed identities. Two of said identities are Charlemagne (748-814) and Paul Mounet (1847-1922). Friends have said I need to get out of the house, but "Why leave?", I demand, when there are such groundbreaking discoveries to be read about upon one's computer?
February is a notoriously difficult month, and for me this year has been no exception. I've been getting through it by bombarding myself with new music, which has been untraditionally plentiful lately. I don't know what it is, but I've been more musically inspired in the past two weeks than I have been in a year. A couple of albums I would suggest looking into are Low's "C'mon" and Bonnie "Prince" Billy's "Wolfroy Goes to Town". Both are brand new releases and have immense therapeutic value.
I'm going back into the studio next month, this time to Greenhouse studios in Vancouver. We are polishing up the new single to be released very soon. I promise.
Love,
-Daniel
