Well, well, well, hello there!
We are amateurs at NMC and are still getting our feet wet, figuring out this cool, new, ultramodern music network. It looks at if we've been spending too much of our time on the outdated My-Space and other such programs. Perhaps you care to see the wee profiles we have created on such Internet outlets. Let me introduce you to Dancehall Free For All firstly on myspace: www.myspace.com/dancehallfreeforall
That said, we do have ourselves a retreat guarded by our very own DOT-COM: http://www.dancehallfreeforall.com/
Recently, I crafted for our sextet what I thought to be a clever group within the Facebook Kingdom. By joining this group a member can eagerly await exciting announcements from, well, most likely myself, which may fall under the categories as New EP (which is in fact a rumour with a positive foundation), New Merch, Upcoming Shows, etc. etc. etc. The link to said group is: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=8363599333
Once at this group, another link will also become available to you but alas, I will give you a shortcut from this here page. This link will take you to our page on iLike: http://apps.facebook.com/ilike/artist/Dancehall+Free+For+All
Finally, a final link will give you an entertaining insight into the dynamics of our "musical sound producing ensemble" (see the following link to understand this bad joke). This fall, we, Dancehall Free For All, had a blast playing a set at the fabulous El Mocambo. We were one of a few bands playing there for an event called Watstock Festival - a one night fundraiser to raise money for the research of Cystic Fybrosis (sorry if I spelled that wrong). Anyways, a new company by the name of Uncharted Sounds was doing some media coverage of this event. I suppose you could say that we hit it off, as one thing led to another and Voila! if you look at Uncharted Sounds' January 2008 cover story you will find a big, bright picture of yours truly(s?). Here is the necessary link: www.unchartedsounds.com
And with that, lady/gentleman or whomever/whatever you may be... I hope that I have provided you with some interesting, possibly entertaining, and hopefully enjoyable resources by which to enlighten yourself of the [somewhat] inner working of we who know ourselves to be "Dancehall Free For All". Check out our music and we hope that then you'll check out one of our shows.
