Shane Wilson grew up in Vancouver and was exposed to the world of electronica music while in Paris. At the Buddha Bar he became entranced by the strange sounds and rhythms. Since then, he has aspired to create his own interpretation of down tempo music, incorporating sounds from nature, ethnic instruments and techno. In 2003, Shane was featured as Assistent Engineer on the Paras Records, Primeaux & Mike's "On This Earth" album. A new twist on the ancient Peyote chantings of the Native Americans, with a quiet background of ambient sounds. His current projects include composing and engineering a song for the next release of the Tulku music project. aspirations include creating his own distinctive sound in a genre laden with sub-genres. Snowboarding, playing guitar, and long walks through the forest are among his other interests.
