biographical info
With his personal exploration by canoe and snowshoe of the Shield country of northeast Manitoba and northwest Ontario, Dave's wilderness journeys have heavily influenced his music, and he sings about the north, the wild country, and the people who live there.
It is intensely Canadian.
"Northern Breeze", was produced in January 1997, and was an instant sell out during its release concert in Toronto.
“Wilderness Waltz”, was released in the fall of 2001. It too focuses on Northern themes, but reflects Dave’s sense of humour and his love of the outdoors. Dave is in demand for folk festivals as well as venues with a wilderness focus. His music is receiving radio airplay in North America and Europe.
