Colours is a four piece band from Canmore Alberta. They all share a strong passion for all kinds of music whether it's classic rock, punk rock, metal, or even classical music! Their collective goal as a band is to simply enjoy what they do and entertain; and at the same time perform with high energy and enthusiasm.
The band started mid-2009 when three close friends, Connor Higgerty, Ryan Martin, and Casey Wyly started a weekly jam at a windshield-repair shop during the evenings. Nights of practice went by, and it was obvious the band needed a drummer. And the universe answered with Andrew Scherba, from Winnipeg MB. Immediately the band felt complete. The connection the four would share would last perpetually.
Colours is a name which symbolizes diversity because each member of the band listens to every shape and form of rock n roll. From heavy metal to progressive rock to pop punk to jazz and blues, each member has a different style which blends naturally. Thus; Colours was created.
So like...basically...
this band loves music and will never stop making it.
