After a long Montreal winter, Coco et Co. spent the spring months poaching old keyboards and yard sale records to serve as inspiration for their debut recording, St. Denis. A new, minimalist duet project for Andrew Sisk (Share) and his musical partner Miranda Durka; the duo wrote and recorded the album in their empty apartment on the street of the album's namesake. Informed by the approach of Serge Gainsbourg, the spirit of Sade, and the mood of Low they limited their thoughtful songs to arrangements for drum machine, keys, guitar, and two voices.
