CLAUDE AND NOELLA LARENTE ---> INDEPENDENT MUSIC ARTIST

BLUES/BLUES ROCK/ COUNTY & COUNTRY BLUES

GOOD DAY

First of all, THANK YOU CBC RADIO 3 for promoting our music.  This is very appreciated.

We are music addicts, went to music rehab and nothing worked.  OUR NAME IS CLAUDE AND NOELLA LARENTE AND WE ARE MUSICAHOLICS lol

We are Home Recording & Solo Artist.  All recordings, music composing, songwritter are all self taught

I enjoy music, I was in a 4 member band playing in bars and stuff, was a duet with my wife, got tired of the bar scene. I started writing my own tunes and record them on a cheap cassette deck a few many years ago lol, then my wife got into writing lyrics witch she writes most of the songs, and started collecting some equipment and really enjoy recording our own stuff. All the music is all by ear. Never learned music notes just know my basics, learned allot by watching others play and had a little bit of lessons from brothers and sisters they also learned by ear lol

Hello,
I'm Noella, Claude's other and equal half. As he mentioned, I write most of the lyrics and some music. I started writing poetry at the age of 10. Later on, when I met Claude, I switched to song writing. Claude is super with the music and the transition from poetry to music was very easy. I use to sing as Claude mentioned, unfortunately, I'm slowly losing my hearing and can no longer keep a tune. The good news is I have a super equal half who believes in me and continues to encourage me.

AN ANGEL IN OUR MIDST

She's standing on the street on a cold and misty day.

And stretches out her trembling hand but, few will look her way.

With an aching heart and troubled soul she hangs her head and prays,

"Dear Lord, I'm tired, ragged, old and gray.

Your hands have shaped and molded me from one small piece of clay.

And when Your work of art was done, You smiled and called me child.

I try to live each day on earth, humble, meek and mild

To do Your will and spread Your love which deep within abides.

Many souls I've reached for You and all You've set aside.

Because they looked beyond the rags and saw an angel in their life.

A few more days I've left to labor and then You take me home.

Let not Your harvest go unreaped, send another angel down.

GOD BLESS MY FRIENDS

She's the young mother of two

With mental limits to what she can do

She struggles daily to make ends meet

With hopeful heart in You she believes

God protect her she is my friends

My jolly neighbor I must not forget

She loves You Lord and she's the best

She freely gives of herself to serve You

She feeds the hungry and tells them about you

God strengthen her she is my friend

He's the father of two grown children

And a hard working man

Twice married but today a lonely man

He refuses to love again he dare not take a chance

God soften his heart He is my friend

They are a couple with one child

He is ill Lord and she works nights

They do not know you Lord except for their son

Help me tell them about Jesus and the battle He won

God send Your Spirit they are my friends

He's in his twenties and in prison

In and out since the age of fourteen

He's heard of You and he is searching

Drugs and alcohol have robbed him of his dreams

God break the devil's hold on him he is my friend

TAKE TIME TO PRAY

My mind is a blank

Not a word can I pen

The kids are fighting

And the dog is barking

I need to open up my mind

And let my thoughts unwind

The neighbor needs a friend

And my husband needs a hand

More then half the day is gone

I finally have some time alone

I stare at the empty page in my notebook

And wonder where I'll find the words

My thoughts are running wild and free

Burdened by the days events

I need solace and peace within

If I'm ever going to write again

The kids are finally tucked away

My friend vented and went her way

My husband thanked me with a hug and a grin

Now there's nothing left to disturb me

Still not a word has come to me

And then it dawned on me

When did I take time to pray?

I poured my heart to God and thanked Him for this blessed day

Not a word will come together if not inspired from our Father

God will open up your heart to pen the words you wish to say

Before and above all else take time to pray

As you offer up your prayers

God's wisdom and guidance will lead the way

WITHOUT DELAY

Do you need a tender touch today?

I'll give one now without delay

A warm embrace from a loving friend

Without delay again and again

Those tears falling from your eyes

Without delay I'll wipe them dry

My shoulder to I'll share without delay

For one needs comfort day by day

Without delay I'll say a prayer

As many as you need because I care

Your guardian angel I will be

A pen and paper to pour out your soul

Without delay I'll bring you both

And if all you need is my company

Just call I'll come without delay

Whatever you want and need I can be

My name is Jesus. For you I went to calvary

IN THAT LOVE I'LL REST

I try to forget but in vain I remember

The accident claimed my mother and father

The solid ground that I tread under

That fateful day changed my life forever

Grandma took me in till I became a teenager

And when she passed away she left behind a loner

I held a job, went to school, and did it all with honor

And by the grace of God I prospered

That same year I met my wife to be

I never thought I'd love again but, she changed all that for me

Her tender loving ways reached within my inner being

The walls came crashing down and I was free to love again

Now here I am once more and walk this world alone

Heaven needed an angel and came and took her home

This time the pain is deeper then none I've ever known

For every waking hour I lived, I lived for her alone

Now all I have is memories and where I go they follow

But one thing is for sure beyond this pain and sorrow

I know that I've been loved by the best God had to offer

And in that love I'll rest until the day I'm gone forever

COMPANY

Agony my dear beloved friend

Will you stay with me till the end

Despair where have you been?

I never thought I'd see you again

Have no fear heart

We will never be apart

Misery will bond us together

And she will help us endure

Pain you are welcomed to stay awhile

But you must promise never to smile

For Happiness is our enemy

He is not part of our family

Please keep Joy and Hope away

They will rob you day by day

Together we shall overcome

For we were meant to walk alone

On each other's shoulder we'll cry on

Through the night till morning comes

Misery loves our company

Her door's not opened to everybody

She has chosen us carefully

A TIME FOR US

I reach into my heart for a memory
Of the time when you walked with me
We worked together for awhile
We were inseparable you and I
I shared my home and family
A place you always came to be
For long walks we would go
We shared our deepest sorrows
We laughed one minute and cried the next
As we revealed each other's secrets
Sadly, time has a way to shift direction
There had to come a day of separation
You were destined for a new life
And mine was by my family's side
That year we shared was a season in time
It will always live in this heart of mine
It was the time for our paths to cross
That moment that season was a time for us.
